Face payment solution is now available in Qatar, following QNB’s latest technology.

QNB Group, one of the largest financial institutions in the Middle East and Africa, has launched the country’s first facial recognition payment method for its merchant.

The new solution by PopID, provisioned through the QNB acceptance network and supported by Visa via tokenization, will allow customers to authenticate payments for goods and services through facial verification.

The technology allows customers to authenticate payments for goods and services using their face, without a physical card or mobile phone after initial enrollment.

These developments have opened up a world of new possibilities for biometric payment solutions and other services.
